The codebar unconference is back! Now in its SIXTH year, uncodebar is our annual one-day event that encourages the codebar community to come together, share knowledge, and strengthen the community that supports our workshops. This year will be slightly different in that it'll be happening virtually, but you'll still have the same level of fun as previous years. We'll also be splitting the day up into 2 sessions, so more people from various chapters around the world can join in; 10AM - 2PM and then again 5PM - 9PM (BST).
What is an unconference?
An unconference is a "loosely structured open space event emphasising the informal exchange of information and ideas between participants".
- At an unconference:
- no topics predetermined
- no keynote speakers invited
- no panels or working groups arranged
Instead, the event lives and dies by the participation of its attendees. They propose talks, workshops and panels and decide what topics will be discussed. Then they convene separate breakout sessions. In other words, an unconference has no agenda until the morning when participants create it.
