Two oncology specialists who treat patients in the NYC, NJ & Washington DC areas will share the COVID-19 impact on their institutional protocols/processes for inpatients and outpatients, the pandemic’s potential effects on oncology patient outcomes, and how clinicians can safely manage their patients with cancer at this time.

David Vesole, MD, Ph.D.
Dr. Vesole is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology and specializes in medical oncology, hematology, and multiple myeloma. Dr. Vesole treats patients both in the New Jersey and Washington DC area. He is Co-Chief, Myeloma Division and Director, Myeloma Research, John Theurer Cancer Center in Hackensack and Director, Myeloma Program, Medstar Georgetown University Hospital and Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University.

Jamie Chaft, MD
Dr. Chaft is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology and specializes in lung cancer. Dr. Chaft treats patients in NYC at Memorial Sloan- Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Chaft earned her medical degree from NYU School of Medicine and completed her residency at NY Presbyterian Hospital - Cornell Campus. She completed her fellowship in hematology/oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering where she continues to practice with the Memorial Solid Tumor Group.
