Latino Network Student Leadership Conference 2020

This one-day virtual conference will bring together students throughout Riverside County and surrounding areas to promote higher education, political equality, and professional development. The conference theme,“Activate your power; The Intersectionality of Education, Political Equity and Wellness” will provide tools and strategies to overcome institutional and personal barriers hindering the professional success of underrepresented students as they transition into institutions of higher education. 


This conference is intended for young adults ages 16-25.  The workshops will be centered around the following general themes; financial literacy & financial aid, resume & cover letter building, time management, study skills, goal setting, career success & personal power, examining decision making, leadership development, diversity appreciation/equity in the 21st century, civic engagement, advocacy and being involved locally and federally, leveraging mentors & coaches and the social emotional wellness of students.
