Fundraising in challenging times 💰

to
The entire startup ecosystem has its rhythm set by fundraising rounds. Fundraising’s basically the startup metronome. But these days, things are getting complicated. Startup revenues are declining, some are running out of cash, and fundraising is less & less of an option.

But that doesn’t mean it’s impossible to raise. You need to handle your cash differently and target VCs appropriately. Let’s take some time to understand what you can expect from VCs today & what they expect from you.

And luckily, VC money is not the only way to go! You can raise funds differently thanks to revenue-based models, crowdfunding, CSOs… Exploring these models is absolutely necessary today to understand what you can do to improve your cash position.

The purpose of this whole event? Get the keys to today’s hidden fundraising kingdom 🗝

We are super excited to be handing you these keys thanks to a partnership with Amazon Web Services. Even beyond their incredible cloud solution, they are long-term advocates for startups and we are thrilled to be working on this event with them.

Did you hear about CSO (Continuous Securities Offering)? Well, that’s Fairmint’s product. They offer an alternative to classic VC fundraising. It’s easier, more flexible & more advantageous for the entrepreneurs :)
The two founders are based in the US, but they run their international team remotely, mainly using freelancers. Joris is an incredible serial entrepreneur who has sourced, trained & managed hundreds of engineers.

Bertrand Delain, Head of Sales & Account Mgmt. at ConsciousGrowth
After a few years in London working in Investment Banking, Bertrand moved to Berlin to explore what the startup scene had to offer. In august 2019 he got introduced to ConsciousGrowth and joined the company as 1st employee, in charge of developing the business.
ConsciousGrowth is building the first Conscious Entrepreneurship Bank with founder-friendly, non-dilutive lending as its first application.
