Welcome to the 'Back to Business' Networking Event. This is an online networking event aimed to help you connect with local business professionals in the Greater Toronto Area.  During a time when physical networking is just not possible, we wanted to provide an outlet for you to meet new people and continue to build your professional network. We may not all be ready to get back to business like it once was, but as we start the process for returning, this event will help you connect with local professionals for help, resources, and most importantly, to make new business connections.

What is Hopin?

Hopin is the first all-in-one live online events platform where attendees can learn, interact, and connect with people from anywhere in the world. Participants must have a working camera and microphone in order to fully utilize this event.

The cost to attend the event is as follows:

General Admission: $10+tax
This option gets you access to the event and the opportunity to network with other attendees.

Sponsor Admission: $50+tax
  • This option gets you access to the event and the opportunity to network with other attendees.
PLUS: Your logo displayed in the sponsor area of the website for all event attendees to see

Exhibitor Admission: $100+tax
  • This option gets you access to the event and the opportunity to network with other attendees.
  • Your logo displayed in the sponsor area of the website, plus a small exhibitor banner artwork on the main page
  • Your own dedicated exhibitor area where you can play a pre-recorded video, run a live session, link to your website, and your own dedicated chat area for attendees to ask you questions.  
  • Social media shout out on the Facebook and Linkedin event pages
  • 2 minutes live on the main stage where you can introduce yourself to everyone in attendance at the beginning of the event

Q: How does one-on-one networking work?

Hopin is the only events platform that provides one-on-one meetings, like speed networking, in an event.
When you join a One-on-one, you are paired up with one person at a time via Hopin’s video chat for a set amount of time that is conducive for a facilitated networking session.
Once the time is up (there’s a timer), Hopin automatically moves you to the next person. Matching is 100% random. You can stop meeting with someone and move to the next person anytime you want. You can also set up a private continuation of the video call should you decide that you need more time to network and talk with that particular person.
