This training is designed to sharpen the understanding of the role of a Coordinator as an elected or appointed leader. Whether a Women's, Fair Practices, YOUNG or Pride Coordinator this class will enhance your knowledge of key civil, human, women and workers’ rights issues. Participants will learn how to be an effective coordinator in their local, and how to become and encourage others to become union activists. This course will be lead by current HRC coordinators and will provide attendees a history of AFGE, how to properly represent their allies in the workplace, legislation, mobilization, and education.
