AESCON 2020 Day 1: Opening

AESCON (Asia-Europe Sustainable CONnectivity) is the first scientific conference on Asia-Europe sustainable connectivity, bringing together researchers, data and policy analysts working in the field of international connectivity, globalisation and their impacts on sustainable development, with a particular focus on Asia-Europe connections.

The conference aims to provide an academic forum to discuss global challenges on transport infrastructure, energy transition, climate change, trade and investment flows, security, people mobility, among others. 

AESCON is more than just another online conference. The conference offers an open platform for exchanging knowledge and networking between participants via a variety of engaging virtual formats, ranging from scientific sessions and poster exhibition to virtual coffees and speed networking.

Important: The conference is divided in two parts: 
  • Day 1: Opening 
  • Days 2, 3 and 4 Scientific sessions. Please, use this ticket to access the second part of the conference.

Please note that the event will be recorded and that the video will be made public for 
information purposes related to the activities or projects of the European institutions and
