The purpose of 502Con is to raise public awareness surrounding the issue of violence in Louisville, Kentucky. 

502Con was established to bring together youth across the city to discuss pertinent issues and root causes that lead to violence of all types. The rhetoric used in 502Con is strategic in its relevance to the current state of violence throughout the city and is meant to be inclusive of all demographics present in the city.
