The Role 

Hopin’s Community Marketing Lead will work closely with the Head of Marketing on every aspect of Hopin’s user base and transform our customers into raving superfans. The candidate will own our community channels and build brand awareness and loyalty with existing and potential clients.

As the Community Marketing Lead, you will be the first point of contact for Hopin’s online fans and followers, including users, prospects, and competitors. You will apply your strategic vision and excellent communication skills to implement systems and processes that create a strong, visible brand that people love. This will require a deep understanding of the Hopin event platform and how organizers are using it.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with multiple teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Support to guide users down the right user journey and also create content/campaigns that drive business results. 

Through your initiatives, you will inspire Hopin’s community to rave about the product, self-support, create more and bigger events, and autonomously problem-solve.

Representative projects include: auditing Hopin’s current user base and segmenting audiences, launching and managing community management platforms, selecting social listening and scheduling platforms that integrate with our CRM, generating demand and positive word of mouth through community events, reporting on data that enables sales and support teams.

Your responsibilities

  • Strategize our community engagement lead funnel for activation and reactivation, improved retention, reduced churn, and upgrading plans.
  • Review, select, and implement tools for scheduling, tracking, listening, and reporting on Hopin’s overall community.
  • Create campaigns and forums to generate reviews, UGC, and interactive conversations within the community.
  • Work with other team members to create written and video content for product education and thought leadership.
  • Raise off-platform awareness of the Hopin brand, company culture, differentiating product capabilities compared to competitors, great events and organizations, and job opportunities.
  • Route support issues coming through social channels to the right support channels and nurture/hand off sales opportunities at the right time coming through social channels.
  • Implement workflows around our release cycle to streamline adoption of new Hopin features, upgrades, and plans.
  • Activate Hopin’s community to create more events, share learnings, renew subscriptions, and refer new business.
  • Regularly plan and host Hopin events using Hopin.
  • Report back on data and learnings from the community to the right Hopin teams. 

About you

A degree in communication, English, journalism, marketing or related field may be required.

  • 4+ years experience working with community management tools and platforms.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous work experience in a SaaS business environment.
  • Self motivated, can-do attitude, problem solver and can work in a fast paced environment.
  • Team player who can work cross functionally across multiple departments.
  • Passionate about technology and marketing trends.
  • Preferred: Experience organizing community events.
  • Preferred: High proficiency in both Google Analytics, social platforms, and Hubspot.

We are currently a remote team and are open to remote applications from all over the world (preferably within 2 hours of US timezones)
